The fishing industry is so far behind the times in relation to PR and marketing. It’s so bad that when you discuss what we accept as normal in the fishing industry with other industry marketing and PR people they are astonished. There are really two classes in the fishing industry, those that have buckets of money and those who have to watch every penny.  This goes for companies and anglers alike.

Companies
The upper class, companies like Pure Fishing and Strike King throw boat loads of money at media and advertising. This causes the rates to skyrocket out of the range of the rest of the companies. This leaves companies who are trying to make it to the next level in a bad situation.  Throw buckets of money around like the big boys and risk it all or spend very little and grow very little.  We have the answer to this problem.  We’ve proven it over time, we’ll give one example – Rago Baits.

Anglers
Much like companies, the big names in the sport, and there aren’t many of them, get all the easy money from sponsors and easy exposure from the media. This leaves the rest of the anglers to fight for the left overs.

Being a professional angler is really two jobs.  First, you need to be a great angler and be successful on the water.  Second, you better know how to promote and find yourself some exposure. We can’t directly help with job one. However, we can work with you to make you succesfull at job two, marketing and promoting which will help you at job one (fishing) by opening up your time to focus on it.
